How could help Trunk Share to the community?
Trunk Share is a community package sending and trunk sharing application. You can send packages or you can deliver them (as a courier).
Why choose us?
Because we are not a courier company. Instead we bring together ones who would send, with those who would deliver. This will reduce carbon footprint and makes your package delivery more affrodable while also allowing private persons to reduce their travel costs.
Where can i find the price of my package?
Use the Calculator menu within the app, which calculates exactly how much your package will cost.
How can I register?
In order to Register, download the TrunkShare app from Apple store or Google Play store and enter the required information. We will notify you by e-mail if your registration was successful.
How can I be sure that I am not carrying something illegal?
You can only use the features provided by the TrunkShare application with an authenticated account. To do this, you need to upload a picture of ID card, and a real-time selfie approved by an administrator at our center.
The sender can upload a picture of the package content that the courier can see. You can also use this to prove that the package content is not against the law.
The GTC contains the aforementioned regulations and users must accept the terms of conditions of the TrunkShare application, according to which the sender is responsible for the legal content of packages and the courier for the proper delivery of packages. Furthermore, if necessary, TrunkShare cooperates with authorities with 100% transparency.
What is Barion and how do I use it?
One of the most secure online payment systems in Hungary. The sender can pay for his package through the system and the courier will receive the payment to a Barion account. Watch our video for more information:LINK

How do I register a package?
– Click on the send package button in the TS app and enter the required information. Then all you have to do is wait for a courier to sign up for your package and then pay the price.
– You can also go ahead and sign up your package for a route uploaded by a courier, thus speeding up the process. You can find the possible routes on the main page.
How can I accept a courier for my package?
When a courier signs up for your package, you will be notified via email. To accept it, log in to the application and click on Packages. Select the package for which the courier has signed up. There, you can see the name and rating of the courier. You can accept, and pay for the package by tapping on the gray arrow next to the courier’s name.
How can I pay for my package?
You only have to pay when you have managed to find the right Courier who will deliver your package. When a courier signs up, the Barion website (through which the payment is processed) will automatically appear, making the payment more convenient. When you have registered your package for a Courier’s route and accepted the delivery, you can pay by clicking on package details in the Packages menu.
How do I know where my package is?
Thanks to package tracking, you can keep track of the current location of your package on a live map.
How long does it take to ship my package domestically?
Your package will arrive at the recipient within the timeframe you specify. You can select it when registering the package.
How long does it take to send my package to another country?
Foreign packages arrive in 3-5 days on average.
How do I know that my money won’t be lost?
In the TrunkShare app, you pay through Barion, a system supervised by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank and other international organizations.Barion is one of the most secure online payment systems in Hungary.
What can be the maximum size and weight of the package?
When registering a package, you can choose the ideal size, which can be the size of a shoe box, but can even reach hundreds of pounds. Of course, the package size limit also depends on the courier’s vehicle size.
What happens if the receiver is not at home at the time of delivery?
The courier will contact the recipient and arrange further action. If the receiver gives notice in advance, the courier will try to deliver the package to an authorized person.
Does Trunk Share hand the package over to the neighbor as well?
If the neighbor has the necessary QR code, he can pick up the package. It is important to inform the Courier in advance!
How do I accept a courier application?
If a courier signs up for your package, you can confirm or reject it in the Packages menu. You can do so by clicking on the package where you can also read the courier review.
How do I cancel my package?
Select My Packages, then go to the datasheet of the selected package and click on Cancel Package.
The package is on its way and I need to cancel it, what should I do?
If the package is already on its way and cancellation is made by either party, it is very important that you make sure to contact each other by phone or message so that the package can be returned to the sender in the shortest time possible.
My package did not arrive, what should I do?
If your package has not arrived, you can indicate it in the app on one of the courier’s contact details. Do you still need help? Write to [email protected] or call +36 20 320 8676.

Do I have to give an invoice as a Courier?
Given that, in addition to utilizing existing resources, this is a sharing activity – the obligation to give an invoice only arises in the case of economic activities – it is not necessary based on the current rules if you transport packages on an ad hoc basis and not generating extra income. Would you like to be a Full-Time Trunker? In this case, you must be a self-employed person with a tax number or a self-employed person (KATA) with a tax liability.

What is Számlázz.hu and how should I use it?
Számlázz.hu is an easy-to-use invoicing program that allows you to issue the proper invoice. You don’t need to register or use it if you transport packages occasionally and you will not earn any extra income in excess of you travel expenses.
What packages cannot be delivered?
– stabbing, cutting and firearms
– ammunition, explosives
– radioactive, flammable, toxic, corrosive, flammable and explosive substances and items containing it
– live plants and animals and their remains
– earthly remains
– perishable, contagious, disgusting goods
– goods requiring cooling and heating
– objects insulting reverence, ashes of the dead
– narcotics, other hallucinogens and substances specified in the Penal Code
– improperly packaged items
– package addressed to a mailbox
– dangerous goods specified by the ADR (Regulation on the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road).

How can I sign up for a package?
On the main page, you will see the packages you can instantly sign up for. Click on the package and by selecting it, you can notify the sender that you would take it! By clicking on the magnifying glass icon, you can even filter the options to see only the packages that are right for you.
What happens if my registration for a package is accepted?
Once your signup has been accepted, all you have to do is contacting the sender and discussing the details of the package delivery.
How can I cancel my route?
Under My Routes, select the route you want to delete and click on Cancel Route.
I accepted a package and want to cancel it, what should I do?
You can cancel the accepted package by clicking on the given package in the My Shipments menu. In case you have already picked up the package and still have to cancel it, it is your responsibility and obligation to return the package to the sender.
The sender canceled the package, which I have already picked up, what should I do?
In this case, contact the sender and discuss the details of package returnal.
